Part Time Registered Nurse at Southbridge

Enhance lives as a Part Time Registered Nurse with Southbridge Care Homes in Ontario. Provide exceptional resident care through assessments, medication administration, and teamwork to elevate nursing practices.

This role requires a Registered Nurse focused on delivering quality care in long-term settings. You will participate in implementing and evaluating resident care plans while ensuring adherence to nursing standards. As a pivotal member of a multidisciplinary team, you will also support nursing staff, including training and performance evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to established standards

• Develop and assess resident care plans collaboratively

• Supervise and train nursing and personal care staff

• Assist with RAI MDS preparations as needed

• Take charge of the facility in the director’s absence

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Valid First Aid and BLS certification

• Managerial experience in long-term care preferred

• Knowledge of infection control practices

• Ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve
