Become a pivotal Cashier delivering swift, friendly, and accurate customer service. Engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience while managing checkout and return processes effectively.
This Cashier position focuses on exceptional customer interactions and maintaining a smooth Self-Checkout area. You will gain product knowledge to inform customers and identify sales opportunities. As a Head Cashier, you'll also oversee transactions, aid in customer issues, and mentor junior associates in their development and training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle checkout and return transactions with speed
• Maintain the Self-Checkout area for efficiency
• Train and coach new Cashiers on procedures
• Assist customers with information and product inquiries
• Support in resolving escalated customer issues
Requirements:
• 1+ years of Cashier experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to coach and train team members
• Knowledge of policies to minimize shrinkage
