Location: Camrose, AB and surrounding rural communities
Position Type: Full-time (35 hours/week) | Term:
Until June 2026, with the possibility of extension
Changing Ways is seeking a Men and Boys, Program Facilitator to lead programming and individualized support for men and boys impacted by or at risk of family violence. The coordinator will engage participants through workshops, one-on-one support, and group programming designed to increase resilience and prevent violence.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and/or facilitate workshops on healthy masculinity, empathy, consent, and emotional regulation in schools, workplaces, and community settings.
- Provide one-on-one support for primarily men and boys, including check-ins before and after group program completion.
- Deliver youth programming that builds resilience and relationship skills through evidence-based approaches.
- Offer referrals and support navigation for participants needing additional services.
- Ensure flexible, accessible service delivery, including hybrid options and evening sessions.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, service providers, and local groups to enhance program reach and connect participants with relevant supports.
- Engage in outreach and awareness efforts to reduce stigma and increase participation.
- Prepare primarily male clients for full and appropriate participation in intimate partner violence (IPV) and Anger Management groups, including extended check-ins after group completion Provide Youth evidence-based programming in groups and one on one, primarily serving Boys
- Conduct intake assessments, ensure consent forms are completed, and maintain confidential records.
- Organize and manage communication with participants, facilitators and referral agencies.
- Collect participant feedback and evaluate program impact
