Lead Department Manager - Overnights at Walmart Canada. A Lead Department Manager - Overnights leads a team by upholding the basic beliefs and values of Walmart. The team is responsible for stocking shelves, setting up displays, and maintaining a well-presented store.

• Assists in providing direction and coordination of Overnight Stocking per priorities from the Overnight Assistant Manager and the Daytime Management Team.
• Assesses the overall presentation of merchandise and appearance of the store; notes deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required.
• Ensures that defective merchandise is taken to the claims room.
• General responsibility for store safety and security in the absence of the Overnight Assistant Manager; manages accidents that occur during the overnight shift in the absence of the Overnight Assistant Manager.
• Inspects premises of assigned areas within the store to ensure adequate security exists and that physical facilities are in compliance.
• Participates in training and development of Overnight Associates to achieve production results.
