Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join their finance and accounting team. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and supporting payroll reporting and audit functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working with confidential information.

Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly, biweekly, or monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and verify timekeeping records, wage calculations, deductions, and adjustments.
  • Maintain employee payroll files and related documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and management, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Support payroll tax filing, compliance, and audits.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accurate data entry and integration.
