Utilize your expertise in highway and bridge construction as a Contract Services Administrator with the Ministry of Transportation. Oversee complex infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
This is a permanent role located at 1927 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke. The successful candidate will administer various concurrent construction contracts and ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include contract oversight, technical supervision, and financial monitoring for multi-million-dollar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and manage contract drawings during pre-engineering
• Evaluate quotes and proposals for consultant procurement
• Oversee contractors' performance and resolve complex issues
• Monitor project expenditures and financial forecasts
• Lead site administration and provide technical training
Requirements:
• Valid class G driver's licence or equivalent
• Knowledge of highway engineering standards and practices
• Experience in contract management and dispute resolution
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
