Full-Time Buyer

Join Alstom as a Buyer in Etobicoke, Canada, to lead procurement efforts and foster supplier relationships in the rail industry. This role focuses on quality, cost, and delivery.

In this full-time position, you will spearhead procurement projects, ensuring supplier and project alignment. You’ll prepare Requests for Quotations, lead negotiations, and manage supplier performance while promoting Alstom's ethical standards. Collaborating with departments, you'll be central to delivering sustainable transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute supplier Request for Quotations efficiently

• Drive negotiations for favorable project outcomes

• Oversee QCDT metrics and project compliance

• Ensure work package commitments are fulfilled

• Support collaboration across various teams

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business

• 3-6 years of procurement experience

• Familiarity with Maximo and SAP preferred

• Strong negotiation capability

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional coordination
