Payroll Manager

Providing strategic leadership for payroll operations, the full-time Payroll Manager will oversee accurate and compliant payroll administration, manage payroll tax compliance, and lead a team in process improvements while working remotely. Key responsibilities Oversee end-to-end payroll functions, establishing priorities and operating standards for timely payroll delivery Ensure payroll tax compliance and maintain audit readiness by implementing appropriate controls and procedures Lead major payroll projects, including system implementations and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field Minimum of six years of experience managing full-cycle payroll processing and tax compliance Recent experience with Workday Payroll, demonstrating proficiency in payroll processing and data management Comprehensive knowledge of payroll tax compliance and applicable federal, state, and local requirements Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and evaluate team performance effectively
