Packaging Operator

Packaging Operator (Etobicoke; Toronto/Etobicoke)

Responsibilities:

• Working on the assembly line, operating various machines; case erector, shrink wrapper and filler.
• Provide regular product and equipment checks.
• Maintain a steady pace on bottling, canning, and kegging lines; work in teams to meet daily targets, including offline jobs such as repack.
• Troubleshoot, clear jams and adjust equipment.
• Report any machinery malfunctions to team leads and management.
• Assist with set‑up and preparation of machinery and equipment for start‑up.
• Tidy and clean down at the end of each shift.
• Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy.
• Mind quality control at all times, ensuring that the brewery standards are not compromised.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience operating machinery, preferably in fast‑moving beverage or food manufacturing.
• Physically fit, able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods of time.
• Clean and organized in all duties.
• Positive attitude and hard‑working.
• Punctual, reliable and respectful.
• Good team player.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

This position is working on a part‑time basis, approximately 1 to 3 day‑shifts will be offered each week, between Monday and Friday. Salary range $18.00 to $19.00 per hour plus vacation pay.
