Join Polytainers as a Robotics Technician in Etobicoke, ON, troubleshooting IML and Take-out robots.
Your role is pivotal in enhancing automation and reducing operational defects.
As an Automation Technician, you will report directly to the Molding Maintenance Manager. Your duties will involve setting up and maintaining automated systems, including robots and vision inspection equipment. Your contribution is essential to ensuring smooth operations and optimal productivity through diagnostic assessments and necessary repairs to machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and maintain automation equipment
• Adjust and replace sensors and servo motors
• Complete robotic preventative maintenance tasks
• Communicate effectively across shifts
• Participate in continuous improvement projects
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma; automation-related education preferred
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of cGMP processes
• Proven interpersonal and problem-resolution skills
