Maintenance Mechanic Counter Balance

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and plant devices to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and electrical background, thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, and is a proactive problem‑solver.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and plant systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose and repair electrical circuitry, including relays, timers, VF drives, contractors, and overloads.
• Perform mechanical repairs, including pumps, gearboxes, lifting devices, and other industrial components.
• Utilize hand and mechanical tools to complete repairs and installations.
• Operate counter balance forklifts safely in a production environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe plant operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices.

• Robust electrical experience with basic circuitry and industrial components such as relays, timers, VF drives, contractors and overloads.
• Strong mechanical background with experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment such as pumps, gear boxes, lifting equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Welding experience is a plus but not required.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently and in a team.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed including afternoons (2pm – 10pm) or evenings (10pm – 6am).
• Good command of the English language (written and verbal).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong advantage.

$28.00-$32.00 per hour
