Extruder Machine Operator

Urgently requiring a CNC Operator in Courtney park East, Mississauga, Ontario. The location is transit accessible. This position is in our client's manufacturing department and is to start immediately. There is potential for this role to become permanent and will be assessed over the next few weeks based on the volume of orders and what needs to be completed.

• Monday to Friday.
• Morning shifts 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Production Supervisor.

• Operate CNC production machines to ensure high‑quality parts in accordance with customer orders.
• Operate and maintain CNC production equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Plan machining processes by reviewing work orders, blueprints, material specifications, and drawings; interpret dimensions and tolerances effectively.
• Ensure safe operations by adhering to established safety procedures and regulations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment, following the manufacturer’s instructions and troubleshooting any malfunctions.
• Facilitate continuity across work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records to support operational efficiency.
• Keep work area safe, clean, and organized, promoting a productive work environment.
• Perform various drilling operations (countersinking, reaming, spot drilling, tapping, boring, etc.).

• Proficient in basic math and blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with G‑ and M‑codes for CNC programming.
• Ability to utilize various measuring gauges accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with effective oral and written communication skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNC machine operator.

Must have steel‑toed safety footwear. Further personal protective equipment will be provided.

Compensation offered: $19.00 per hour. Overtime offered, including weekends (depending on work volume).
