As a Shipping/Receiving Team Lead, you will oversee daily activities, guiding Forklift, Palletizers, and Stack Movers while leading by example. Your leadership will foster teamwork and accountability among team members, and you will handle equipment troubleshooting, training new staff, and achieving daily KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the shipping team for peak performance
• Conduct pre-shift huddles and provide team feedback
• Ensure availability of trailers and coordinate dispatch
• Verify and manage inventory and shipping documentation
• Train new members and oversee their accountability
Requirements:
• 2-3 years in shipping/manufacturing, preferably food
• Forklift experience essential for daily operations
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of GMP's, HACCP & O.H.S.A required
