Registered Nurse - Birthing Unit

Join William Osler Health System as a Registered Nurse in the Birthing Unit of Etobicoke. This part-time role offers a chance to provide excellent maternal and newborn care while working on 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patients

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures

• Establish therapeutic relationships for enhanced patient care

• Respond to emergencies and assess changing health statuses

• Facilitate health education for patients and families
Requirements:

• Minimum two years of obstetrics nursing experience

• Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario breastfeeding course completion

• Obstetrics Nursing certification required or in progress

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Strong critical-thinking and communication skills
