In this part-time role, you will provide safe nursing practice in Hemodialysis under the ESRD Programs. Bring at least two years of hemodialysis experience and strong communication skills to excel in patient-centered care. Your responsibilities include thorough health teaching and emergency response in a culturally diverse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Deliver compassionate nursing in compliance with infection control
• Teach patients and families for continuity of care
• Respond to emergency situations effectively
• Collaborate with an inter-professional healthcare team
Requirements:
• Minimum two years hemodialysis experience
• Nephrology certificate or enrollment within 18 months
• Completion of vascular access modules required
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS and medication administration certificates required
