Job OverviewResponsible for leading and advancing the company’s quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and food safety programs by driving audit readiness, continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and risk-based decision-making across all operations.
What You Will Get To Do- Responsible for the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance strategies of the company.
- Continuously improve, develop, implement, and oversee the quality assurance and regulatory compliance strategies of the company.
- Partner with other cross functional groups including operations, sales, marketing, procurement, and leadership to ensure successful execution of the Quality Programs across the business
- Ownership includes planning, implementing, executing, and maintaining all aspects of these programs with a continuous improvement mindset to improve the Quality Systems
- Responsible for SSM Coordinator for the Give/Go locations
- Ensure that all SSM cross functional members are trained
- Managing any potential situations per the SSM guidelines including setting meetings, completion of action register and sending out meeting notes
- Liaison with MDLZ for guidance and ensuring proper tracking is complete
- Connect with Regulatory agency as needed
- Ensure all lesson learned are complete and shared
- Ensure all Sites are prepared for all Internal, MDLZ, GFSI, Regulatory and Customer audits and improve CAPA capability
- Serve as lead for transition to FSSC standard for all Give/Go locations
- Strengthen CAPA governance and accountability for the Give/Go location through training and reinforcing standardized ways of working, improving oversight of program-related metrics and increasing
- Assure compliance with the FDA/CFIA food laws
- Lead and deliver on the key digital projects and create road maps on tools needed for future implementation in partnership with cross functional teams
- Incident Management tracking

- KPI reporting
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Biology, Engineering, Microbiology, Operations Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance Completion of Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)
- Technical knowledge of quality and food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Technical knowledge of Food Manufacturing processes, Sanitation and Microbiology
- Experience dealing with regulatory agencies (i.e. CFIA, FDA)
- Submitting and implementing corrective/preventive actions plans
- Proficient with Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Plant Quality and Operations colleagues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to document findings and data clearly, concisely, and accurately
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Well organized and self-motivated, and able to work well both independently and in cross‑functional teams
- Excellent ability to focus and prioritize in a rapid‑moving environment;
Strong knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, Preventive Controls and Quality Systems - Statistical processes and problem‑solving techniques.
