Night Shift Quality Control Technician

We are currently looking for a Night Shift Quality Control Technician.

• Verifying process/quality checks every hour at each stage of production, as performed by process operators/Lead Hands.
• Conducting hourly quality and control point measurements to ensure consistency of product quality and reduce waste.
• Training new employees on GMP.
• Identifying issues with production when necessary.
• Monitoring facility activity to ensure compliance with GMP requirements.
• Verifying production records during the shift, maintaining document control, and ensuring effective follow-up on deviations and corrective actions.
• Maintaining documentation, policies, procedures, and records as required.
• Investigating consumer/customer complaints and facilitating root cause analysis.
• Supporting R&D initiatives, monitoring recent product launches, and engaging in product improvement/technical services activities.
• Ensuring 100% completion of food safety training.
• Identifying areas for improvement based on self-inspection and audit findings, and following up to ensure gaps are addressed.
• Follow GMP policy at all times.
• Alternate QC technician is responsible to cover QC technician’s responsibilities during their absence.

Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Etobicoke, ON M8Z 5L6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).

• Quality Control: 1 year (required)
• Bakery Manufacturing: 1 year (required)
