Job Overview
Retail Store Team Leader (Part-Time) - Sherway Gardens, Etobicoke, Ontario.
As a part‑time Team Leader for the LEGO® Brand Retail team, you will model the LEGO® Brand values, provide excellent customer service, and motivate a high‑performance team.
Key Responsibilities- Maximize profitable sales by reviewing sales and margin information on a regular basis.
- Ensure effective space‑management techniques and maintain the store graphics system, including pricing.
- Manage visual merchandising: keep fixtures replenished, evaluate competitor techniques, and implement LEGO® Brand retail guidelines.
- Provide training for sales associates on visual merchandising, product knowledge, and customer service.
- Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO® Brand values.
- Maintain inventory and conduct cash handling and sales auditing.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale automated system and maintain physical store merchandise.
- Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment.
- Experience delivering employee training.
- Proficiency in cash handling, inventory auditing, and point‑of‑sale systems.
- Strong visual merchandising skills and familiarity with LEGO® Brand guidelines.
- Ability to motivate a team and create a positive, safety‑first environment.
- Must be able to work up to 30 hours per week and provide availability for a minimum of 30 hours.
- Constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Vision: close vision, depth perception, focus adjustment.
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.36 to $24.36, based on responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. A bonus scheme with an annual target bonus of 5% of the base salary may apply.
