Hours: Vary, Continental 8–12-hour shifts, days and nights
Position Overview:
We are seeking professional, reliable, and experienced Security Guards to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and the public. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while responding effectively to security incidents.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor premises and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and securityRespond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a timely and professional mannerMaintain detailed and accurate daily reports, incident logs, and other documentationEnforce site rules and regulations while providing a strong security presenceAssist clients, visitors, and staff with inquiries and support as neededDe-escalate situations using approved Use of Force and MOAB techniquesWork collaboratively with site teams, supervisors, and external partnersUphold all company policies, procedures, and security best practicesObserve and report safety hazards or operational concernsProvide excellent customer service while representing the organization professionallyPrerequisites:
Must have valid Ontario Security LicenseMust have valid WSIB certified Standard First Aid and CPR - Level 3Be able to provide COVID - 19 VaccinationBe able to provide immunization record for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two Step TB Skin TestPrevious experience in Security related field will be a great assetValid Drivers License will be a great assetMust have be fluent in English both in oral and writtenMust be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)This Training will be provided at the head office once you join, you must be able to complete the training.Please be aware:
The UoF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availabilityPlease be aware:
