Position: Security Dispatch - Sherway Gardens - Full-Time.
Job Description:Deliver a consistent and high level of customer service by professionally supporting clients, site staff, and security personnel through dispatch operations. While working assigned shifts, monitor security systems, coordinate responses, and act as a central point of communication to deter crime and undesired activity and maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Accurately document and investigate routine incidents and coordinate timely, effective responses to emergencies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Dispatch and coordinate security personnel, monitor coverage, and support daily operationsServe as the primary point of contact for management, site staff, emergency services, and law enforcementMonitor CCTV, alarms, radios, and access control systems to ensure site safety and complianceReceive, prioritize, and respond to incidents, emergencies, and service requestsProvide guidance during medical, fire, or security incidents and assist emergency responders as requiredMaintain accurate logs, memo books, and detailed incident reports using standard reporting systemsQualifications:
Minimum 1 year of security experience (dispatch, mall, or physical security considered an asset)Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluent English proficiencyAbility to remain calm, professional, and decisive in high-pressure situationsHigh attention to detail with strong multitasking and organizational skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a teamPrerequisites:
Valid Security License for the province of OntarioValid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved providerEnglish (oral and written) fluency is a must3 Years of experience in security is preferredApplicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionWhy choose Paladin?
