Protect patients, visitors, and staff as a full time Security Guard at Etobicoke General Hospital, using surveillance and emergency response skills.
Paladin Security supports Osler’s Etobicoke hospital site, serving a diverse Central West region. This position requires regular patrols, access control, incident documentation, and calm conflict de-escalation. The schedule includes first shift, third shift, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct rounds across hospital premises, parking areas, and patient rooms
- Operate cameras and alarms, reporting suspicious activity promptly
- Control entry points and restricted-area access
- Respond to emergencies, evacuations, and security threats
- Document incidents, accidents, breaches, and daily activities
- Valid Ontario Security License
- First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Required immunization records and two-step TB skin test
- Fluent written and spoken English
- High School Diploma or GED
