As part of ACCT, the Employment Counsellor engages in client-centered case management to address employment barriers. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing Employment Action Plans, and offering one-on-one counselling. You'll also coordinate essential community support services for clients from various backgrounds, fostering long-term employment success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake assessments and determine eligibility for programs
• Develop individualized Employment Action Plans for clients
• Provide ongoing case management and job search support
• Connect clients with community resources and training opportunities
• Maintain accurate client records and monitor progress
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Minimum two years in employment counselling or related services
• Knowledge of local labour market trends
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Commitment to high-quality client service
