THE ROLE

As a Warehouse Forklift Operator
, you will support operations within a fast-paced third-party logistics facility in Etobicoke, ON. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity ideal for individuals experienced with Crown Reach Trucks and Dock Stockers who are comfortable working in a structured, safety-driven warehouse environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, picking and shipping orders, receiving goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will play a key role in ensuring shipments are prepared, documented, and dispatched accurately and on time, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

STRAIGHT SHIFTS Monday - Friday

Days $21.00/hr - (7:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Afternoons $21.50/hr - (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)

Nights $22.00/hr - (11 pm - 7 am)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate Crown Reach Trucks and Dock Stockers

Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment according to daily schedules

Load and unload trucks, ensuring shipments are handled safely and efficiently

Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage

Verify goods against shipping documents and record any discrepancies

Accurately scan, label, and track inventory using RF scanners and internal systems

Maintain shipping, receiving, and stock areas in a clean and organized manner

Follow FIFO (first in, first out) inventory practices

Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts

Ensure all shipments are dispatched on time with proper documentation (including ASN where applicable)

Adhere to all health & safety policies, including pre-shift equipment inspections

Work in temperature-controlled environments (including cold storage as required)

Perform general warehouse duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

1–2+ years of experience operating Crown Reach Trucks and Dock Stockers

Valid external forklift license required

High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent

Experience with RF scanning and warehouse management systems (MRP/ASN)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Good communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English)

Reliable with a strong attendance record

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs safely

Comfortable working in varying temperatures (2°C to
-30°C environments)

Strong commitment to workplace safety and procedures
