Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Ontario. This leadership role is responsible for creating a safe, well-organized, and high-performing operation that supports timely material flow from inbound receipt to outbound customer delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen service levels, improve inventory reliability, and build a culture focused on accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Direct daily warehouse activities across inbound receiving, storage, inventory movement, order picking, shipping, and yard coordination to maintain smooth operations.

• Strengthen a safety-first workplace by enforcing legislative requirements, company standards, and food-safe operating practices while leading investigations and corrective actions when incidents occur.

• Ensure customer shipments are prepared accurately and dispatched on schedule, and coordinate recovery plans when shortages, delays, or service issues arise.

• Work with Customer Service, Planning, Manufacturing, Transportation, Procurement, and Quality teams to improve delivery performance and resolve operational bottlenecks.

• Oversee inventory integrity through cycle counts, reconciliations, transaction reviews, discrepancy analysis, and disciplined use of warehouse systems and scanning processes.

• Act as the warehouse lead for ERP and warehouse management execution, promoting system compliance, standardized processes, and capability development among key users.

• Build labour plans that align staffing levels with production output and customer demand, while managing schedules, overtime, contract labour, and overall workforce productivity.

• Coach and develop supervisors and inventory team members through performance management, training, succession planning, and clear accountability expectations.

• Drive operational improvements in layout, space usage, dock flow, material handling, productivity, and automation opportunities using structured continuous improvement methods.

• Track and review warehouse performance through scorecards and KPIs covering safety, service, inventory accuracy, productivity, labour efficiency, and shipping performance.
