We partner with Euclid City Schools to provide specialised education services for students who need a different kind of support. We're seeking an Intervention Specialist who values strong collaboration, small class sizes, and a benefits structure you simply don't see in most school districts.

Salary: $65,000‑$85,000 per year plus $15,000 Sign‑on Bonus ($5,000 on 1st paycheck, $5,000 at 90 days, $5,000 at 180 days) and flexible lifestyle perks.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the instructional process for students in Grades K‑12 with IEPs.
  • Deliver targeted instruction, utilise innovative curriculum resources, integrate educational software, create comprehensive lesson plans and schedules.
  • Create inclusive, collaborative environment involving students, parents, colleagues, administrators.
  • Establish classroom climate with mutual respect, fairness, PBIS.
  • Implement & reinforce PBIS strategies, behaviour expectations, reward systems.
  • Track & document student progress, maintain files, generate reports.
  • Deliver differentiated instruction individually or collaboratively.
  • Adapt curricular content and instructional approaches for diverse learning styles.
  • Use varied instruction methods, resources, educational software.
  • Manage caseload responsibilities, develop & update IEPs, goals, interventions.
  • Prepare daily lesson plans and organise instructional materials.
  • Maintain organised, safe classroom environment.
  • Stay informed on current research‑based instructional practices.
  • Respond to feedback from formal evaluations and observations.
  • Support the school community by performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, special education or a closely related field.
  • Licensed or in the process of obtaining OH state teaching credentials.
  • Certification in company‑approved crisis management training.
  • Experience with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction.
  • Experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance.
  • Knowledge of students with IEPs.
  • Proven success developing effective education plans for diverse students.
  • Skill in motivating students & having critical conversations.
  • Advanced oral & written communication, organisation, conflict resolution, multitasking.
  • Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency.
  • Knowledge of relevant technology, instructional technology, MS Office Suite, database entry.
