Duties & responsibilities will be for the design & development of the electronic aspects of new products & enhancements to existing products. Will be involved in creating prototype electronic assemblies including schematics, components, creating BOMs & electronic circuit design. Embedded software experience is also necessary on most projects.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and have a proven track record in hardware/software design environment. Be a talented and able to work in a multi-disciplined design & development team. Possess excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and creativity skills, honesty and an eagerness to learn and a high level of personal motivation.

Desired Qualifications and

Experience:

Qualified to degree level or equivalent:

3+ years’ experience in Hardware design including embedded software

Important design skills:

Circuit design: analog, measurement, digital

Embedded microprocessor system design

Embedded firmware development

Schematics and assembly drawings

Structuring electronics bills of material

Cadence Capture/Allegro

Legacy OrCad Layout for PC boards

Mostly C, C++ and embedded

Construction of prototypes and design enhancements:

Component specification & procurement

Schematic & firmware evolution

Design for manufacturing

Will do design verification testing
