As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to design and support industrial electrical systems. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Engineering solutions to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with ISO standards.
- Providing technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT departments to minimize downtime.
- Developing and updating PLC, VFD, and HMI programs using platforms like Rockwell and Siemens.
- Maintaining National Instruments LabVIEW code for testing applications.
- Collaborating with various teams to support facility projects.
- Applying NEC knowledge for planning industrial equipment installations.
- Leading projects and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
- Managing outside engineering and construction personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Integrating equipment into data collection systems and establishing network topologies.
- Compiling data from connected devices for organizational use.
- Identifying additional responsibilities that align with Lincoln Electric’s 2025 Higher Standard Goals.
This position is open to candidates with varying levels of experience. Your job level and pay grade will be determined based on your qualifications:
- Engineer II: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Engineer III: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Engineer IV: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
We’re looking for candidates who possess:
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical CAD software.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and test equipment.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70, 70E, and 79 codes.
- Basic networking concepts and SQL Database knowledge.
- Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work off shifts and travel as needed.
