Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) at Ohio Ambulance are tasked with treating and transporting a diversified population of individuals with some of the most severe chronic and acute health conditions. From Pediatrics to Geriatrics, from Oncology to Neurology, and from local transports to long‑distance trips, our EMTs experience one of the broadest spectrums of healthcare services of any career in the field.

• Typical starting range: $18–$24+ per hour, depending on experience and certification
• Shift differentials for:
  • 3rd shift
  • Early morning shifts
  • Event shifts
  • Weekends (beginning Friday evening)

• Provide safe, professional, and compassionate patient transport services
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, dispatch, and healthcare partners
• Maintain accurate trip documentation and patient care reports
• Operate ambulances and wheelchair vans in compliance with safety and traffic regulations
• Assist with patient movement, equipment setup, and ensuring comfort at every destination

• A current Ohio EMT-B, AEMT, EMT-P, or actively enrolled in school

We provide comprehensive orientation and field training for recent EMT school graduates. You’ll be paired with a Field Training Officer who will ensure you’re confident and comfortable in your role before working independently.
