• Own the mechanical health of industrial machinery—troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to production standards.
• Inspect, adjust, and repair automated machines, process equipment, and robotics to ensure safe, stable operation.
• Use root‑cause and failure analysis to prioritize preventive and predictive maintenance that minimizes downtime.
• Perform precise bench repairs and assemble/maintain spare parts to keep critical assets ready.
• Keep meticulous records, coordinate spare‑parts ordering, and mentor peers when asked.
• Support a rotating shift environment and be available for weekend/holiday coverage as required.
• Take on additional assignments aligned with our 2025 Strategy to move the business forward.

• Preferred:
  Associate degree in Mechanical Technology; equivalent experience considered. Must pass the skilled trades assessment for this role.
• Working knowledge of mechanical diagnostics across power transmission, fluid power (hydraulics), and pneumatics.
• Ability to interpret specs, procedures, and prints and to execute from verbal guidance.
• Clear communication, strong organization, and excellent mechanical aptitude for close‑tolerance work.
• Competence with precision measurement tools—torque wrench, micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators—and the math needed for setups and dimensional checks.
• Nice to have: fabrication, welding, and machining capability; operation of hoists, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
• Reliability and integrity in attendance, with a safety- and quality-focused approach.
• Physical capability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs; work in tight spaces; climb ladders; operate at heights up to 28 ft; and wear a respirator.
• Curiosity and commitment to continually expanding your knowledge of plant systems.
