Donor Door Greeter – Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers

Part‑time retail associate position (20–25 hours per week, Monday‑Sunday). Hours vary by seasonal business needs, donation volume, and store location.

As a Donor Door Greeter, you welcome and greet all donors, safely receive and process donations, and assist customers while maintaining accurate records with a hand‑held device. You will also be cross‑trained to work in all areas of the retail operation.

• Greets donors quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service.
• Receives donated goods from donors by unloading vehicles and carrying in items.
• Provides receipts to donors and maintains accurate donation records using a hand‑held device.
• Organizes donations into bins as they arrive for accurate processing.
• Performs general housekeeping duties, keeping the work area neat and clean.
• Assists truck drivers when loading and unloading donations.
• Works in other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills.
• Prior experience in a retail or customer‑service environment (required).
• 1 year of cash‑handling experience (preferred).
• Warehouse experience (preferred).

• Starting pay rate of $12.25 per hour.
