Bilingual, Customer Service Rep
Office Services Support – Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Hope & Safety Alliance
Pay Range- Base pay: $16.00/hr – $16.00/hr
This position is an integral part of the Hope & Safety Alliance team providing front desk coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a multi‑line system to answer and transfer calls.
- Notify staff of scheduled appointments.
- Greet clients, visitors, and donors.
- Maintain call logs.
- Assist in fulfilling client needs.
- Disinfect and maintain office in accordance with CDC guidelines.
- Ensure safety protocol related to authorized entry procedures.
- Assist Office Coordinator in processing all in‑kind donations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work well independently and as part of a team, multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and interact professionally, calmly, and equitably at all times.
- Relate effectively and respectfully with people of all ages and from different backgrounds.
- Familiar with crisis de‑escalation techniques and use mature judgment in decision‑making and conflict resolution.
- Understand the impacts of trauma and importance of delivering collaborative, trauma‑informed services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
- Written and spoken bilingual fluency in English/Spanish.
- Experience working at a front desk and answering phones.
- Well organized, creative, empathetic, and people‑oriented.
- Highly skilled in oral and written communication and active listening.
- Understanding necessity of strict adherence to confidentiality.
- Excellent judgment and strong interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, the internet, and learn new computer programs as needed.
- Background check required.
This position requires long periods of time working at a computer and talking on a telephone. A domestic violence agency environment can shift from stable to highly charged; all employees must remain calm, creative, and flexible.
Contagious Disease ConsiderationsAll staff must be vaccinated. The office is maintained in accordance with CDC guidelines and provided with masks, face shields, gloves, and hand sanitizer.

Location & HoursMain office, Eugene – Hours may vary, Typically 9‑5 M‑F.
