We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Generalist OB/GYN to join our growing practice.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with experience in both outpatient and inpatient care. The role involves providing comprehensive care to women, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, gynecological exams, surgery, and preventive care. We maintain a healthy balance of Obstetrics and Gynecology care including robotic and non-robotic block time at the hospital. Our supportive medical community with access to specialty consultation in general surgery, Gynecology Oncology, Urology Gynecology, and outpatient surgery centers is second to none!

This is a full-time opportunity working on-site at our locations in Eugene and Springfield Oregon. We offer attractive pay and a great benefits package in addition to a potential path to partnership at Women’s Care.

What will you do:
  • Utilize evidence-based medicine and best practices to provide a high level of care that is compassionate and responsive to patient needs and expectations.
  • Assess and document patient status through chart review, interview, and physical examination.
  • Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical conditions.
  • Prescribe or administer therapies, medications, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury. Monitor patients’ conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
  • Perform surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients’ health and deliver babies safely.
  • Rounds on hospitalized, antepartum and post-operative patients, and as needed Midwife oversight/consults.
  • Refer patients to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary.
  • Maintain a moderate level of productivity and bills for work performed in a timely manner.
  • Provide medical care, consultation, and collaboration, coordination, and referral services.
  • Participate in the practice’s call program which include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Requirements What do you need to bring to the role:
  • MD or DO board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Oregon.
  • Current BLS or ACLS certification.
