Summary

We are seeking a Transportation Project Engineer 1 to handle complex projects, from local streets to highways, utilizing CAD, 3D modeling, and engineering analysis. Responsibilities include technical reports, cost estimates, geometric layouts, and stakeholder coordination. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow, mentor others, and contribute to safer, connected communities.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

Perform essential duties related to transportation design, using software like AutoCAD C3D, Microstation, Revit, Infraworks, and others. Lead technical efforts, mentor team members, produce technical reports, manage budgets and schedules, interpret design codes (AASHTO, FHWA, local standards), and communicate with clients. May oversee team operations, recruit, and evaluate staff. Requires a Bachelor's Degree, 6 years of experience, PE license, and a valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Regularly sit, stand, walk, and use hands; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and focus adjustment.
