Join the Intuit team as a Senior Tax Professional – 2+ Yrs Paid Tax Experience Required role in one of our new Turbo Tax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis.

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as Turbo Tax Live Seasonal Local Service Experts. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”

You will work on-site from a Turbo Tax location, serving customers both in-person and virtually using Intuit Turbo Tax products. You will leverage your tax expertise to provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support. Your ability to demonstrate understanding of each customer’s unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical to alleviating the stress some may feel when tackling their taxes.

Whether assisting with simple W-2 filings, navigating life events (marriage, children, elder care), or handling more complex tax scenarios such as business income, amendments, or investments, you will serve as the go-to expert for clients.

In addition, you will play a key role in growing Turbo Tax’s client base within the local community, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. Turbo Tax will provide a straightforward playbook, essential tools, and dedicated support to facilitate your success.

This role is nonexempt and requires onsite presence at a Turbo Tax location in the United States on a seasonal basis.

• Provide tax expertise – offer hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for Turbo Tax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax‑planning advice.
• Be a proactive community ambassador – cultivate a robust customer base for Turbo Tax, act as the local face, engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long‑term clients through proactive outreach. Organize local events with Turbo Tax support to create engagement opportunities.
• Educate and communicate confidently – represent Turbo Tax in your local community, host learning events, participate in marketing efforts, and demystify taxes to make them accessible.
• Build relationships – connect with people, show sensitivity to their financial concerns, and build long‑term trust.
• Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience – provide professionalism, genuine interest in helping clients achieve goals, interact in‑person and via Intuit’s video tools, and address inquiries to help clients overcome tax challenges.

• Possess active, unrestricted credentials: EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Minimum of 2 years paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule of at least 24 hours per week at a Turbo Tax location.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a Turbo Tax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content per Intuit’s policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.
