Projects come from any City department or division and focus on infusing equity and community engagement within allotted budgets. Past and current projects include Parks & Rec Systems Update, Community Safety Initiative, Digital Equity, Police Policy Reform, Sustainability Innovation, Intergovernmental Tribal Relations, Hazard Mitigation Plan Update, Climate Friendly & Equitable Communities, Neighborhood Planning, Hate & Bias Prevention and Response, and Parks & Recreation Health Equity Initiative.
Most projects include aspects of community engagement where your skills can be complemented by lived experience, community connections, and languages spoken.
