Peace Health is seeking a Psychiatrist for a Hospital Consult Liaison position based in the Eugene/Springfield, OR community. The position is full-time with a weekly schedule of Monday - Friday.

Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center at River Bend is a state-of-the-art tertiary care medical center located in Oregons picturesque Willamette Valley. The 386 private patient rooms are designed to maximize access to the 181-acre sites spectacular views of the McKenzie River, tree groves, hills and gardens.

The addition of a psychiatrist dedicated to the Consult Service at Riverbend will ensure that patient care needs will be addressed within 24 hours of a consult request. This will also allow for better coverage for difficult discharge cases. Peace Health Behavioral Health Services offers a comprehensive, coordinated continuum of care. • Consult Liaison Psychiatry at Riverbend Medical Center as primary work site.
• Variety and interesting/challenging group of patients
• Opportunity to join a large, well respected and established Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatry group while employed by Peace Health
• Some administrative responsibility
• Opportunities to mentor/teach rotating medical students through Oregon Health and Science University
• ECT Services available
• Research opportunities available if interested
