Part-Time Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Part‑Time Occupational Therapist to deliver high‑quality in‑house therapy services to adults with a range of diagnoses and disabilities, with a special focus on supporting aging in place. In this role, you will directly influence residents' quality of life by providing person‑centered interventions that promote mobility, independence, and overall well‑being.

• Conduct screenings of new community residents and those referred by nursing to determine the need for intervention
• Evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment, planning, and implementation
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents, family, and other team members
• Record treatment times and documentation by following federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
• Demonstrate capacity to understand insurance reimbursement and billing while coordinating care
• Provide treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards while adapting treatment for individual needs
• Monitor resident response to intervention, modifying treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders
• Recommend and educate residents, family, and community staff in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Consistently demonstrate sound judgment in the evaluation, planning, implementation, and follow‑up of resident therapy programs including excellent communication with community staff
• Maintain safety standards including compliance with infection control, universal precautions, and OSHA standards for healthcare professionals

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program – Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Current state licensure
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Results‑oriented with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
