Millwright - Maintenance Technician

Join Sierra Pacific Industries as a Millwright - Maintenance Technician in Eugene, Oregon. • Maintain and repair all mechanical parts and machinery in a manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair machines and equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Dismantle machinery and locate causes of malfunctions, replace parts from stock or fabricate replacements as needed.
• Fabricate machine components for repairs and improvements.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Assemble, install, and proactively maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment for efficient operation.
• Operate arc welder, cutting torch, hand tools, forklift, and welding truck.
• Fabricate, weld, mill, and lathe as required.
• Perform general maintenance safely, keeping a clean work area.
• Work may include various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays during busy production times.

• At least 2 years of verifiable related work history or equivalent education.
• Proficient in welding, cutting, and using hand tools for repairs.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and bearings.
• Ability to recognize, report, and repair mechanical defects.
• Industrial mill maintenance experience is a plus.
