Mechanical Technician Assistant

• Assist and support powertrain technicians with assembling and disassembling small components.
• Clean and prep used components using industrial washers, dip-tanks, hoists, and other equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the shop and workplace.
• Learn alongside experienced technicians in a role with growth potential and a positive work environment.

• High school diploma or GED
• Familiarity with machine safety and basic powertrain component assembly
• Ability to safely operate equipment such as an industrial parts washer
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability, attention to detail, self-motivation and good attendance
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Hours:
  
  Full time weekdays, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, occasional overtime
• Pay Rate: $21–$22 per hour DOE
• Position Type: 90-day temp-to-hire
• Medical, 401K, and generous paid time off policy available after probationary period
