International Health and Medical Services is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high‑quality healthcare services to patients while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role includes managing daily operations, addressing clinical issues, and fostering a collaborative environment to promote optimal patient care and staff development.
Key Responsibilities- Accountable for the management, supervision, and evaluation of care delivered by nursing and other allied health staff for assigned areas on a 24‑hour basis.
- Use appropriate consultation with experts of each discipline he or she supervises to ensure that practice and performance issues are addressed and resolved.
- Functions as a clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care based on age‑specific components.
- Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self‑management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
- Demonstrates sound decision‑making and judgment and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
- Collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary team and leads innovative process improvement initiatives.
- Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care.
- Responsible and accountable for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and evaluation of individual staff performance.
- Functions as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing leadership to the team.
- Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and implement new evidence‑based programs and processes.
- Performs initial patient triage and ongoing assessment and treatment of acute / urgent presenting symptoms in collaboration with the provider.
- Uses critical thinking and excellent communication skills to care for patients.
- Is knowledgeable of an array of presenting symptoms to quickly triage with appropriate use of nursing protocols in providing evidence‑based care.
- Takes vital signs, collects specimens for lab testing, administers medications, administers IV fluid, performs 12‑lead EKG as needed.
- Performs point‑of‑care testing.
- Accurately documents care given.
- Strictly follows all infection control guidelines to provide safe patient care.
