Medication Technician; Swing Split Shift

• Managing medication as allowed by the state, and completing daily progress reports of services provided. Documenting daily on residents who are being monitored; completing incident reports as needed.
• Implementing orders from physicians and other providers; obtaining clarification on orders as needed.
• Working closely with our nursing and health services team to ensure appropriate care and monitoring of residents.
• Interacting with outside providers as needed including doctors, hospice agency, home health nurses, pharmacy, and emergency personnel.
• Perform caregiving duties as assigned.

• Supervisor: 1 year (Preferred)
• In facility medication passing: 1 year (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
• Knowledge of commonly used medications, chronic conditions, and facility med passing experience preferred.
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
