A leading veterinary facility in Springfield/ Eugene, OR is seeking a Veterinarian Criticalist to join their growing team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary

- Provide critical care to hospitalized animals, ensuring timely and effective treatment
- Consult with referring veterinarians to offer specialized guidance and treatment recommendations
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for critically ill patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary for optimal recovery
- Administer medications and other therapeutic interventions
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide clinical decisions
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Communicate effectively with clients, explaining treatment plans and updates on patient progress
- DVM or equivalent degree required
- Board certification in critical care medicine is preferred but not mandatory
- 2+ years of experience in a veterinary critical care setting is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for providing top-tier care and improving patient outcomes in critical cases
