We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience, helping fans get the merch they love, train new recruits, and assist the Store Manager in daily operations and meeting sales targets.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, using product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Step in and provide leadership support; help run the store when the Manager is unavailable.
• Understand the store sales plan and goals, and help drive sales by increasing key KPIs (UPT and ADT).
• Cover the sales floor zone, maintain visual standards, and assist with opening and closing the store.
• Process sales transactions at the register, use product knowledge to drive add-on sales, and communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixtures, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent misuse of spells/theft and maintain store security.
• Support maintenance of the stock room, keep the store tidy, and assist with inventory processes.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates to help them acclimate quickly to the team.
• Perform any other activities as assigned by the Store Leader.

• Previous experience in a retail environment. If you love music and pop culture, you’re in the right place.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Collaborative and effective communication skills, with leadership abilities.
• Ability to stand and walk during scheduled hours, reach for merchandise using ladders or pole, and move boxes up to 50 pounds.
