Field Mechanic - Weekend Shift; Fri-Sun

Position Overview Are you passionate about maintaining and repairing the heavy equipment that powers industries and shapes the landscapes where we work? We are looking for skilled Field Mechanics to join our Field Service Team. This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, safety, and longevity of a wide range of heavy equipment, including rock drills, rock crushers, excavators, and haul trucks.

Shift

• Friday – Sunday, 12‑hour shifts. Benefit from four consecutive days off each week, providing a flexible schedule for personal commitments. Additionally, we offer $10.00 per hour differential pay for weekend work (Saturdays and Sundays).

Compensation

• Wage Range: $30–$45 per hour, depending on experience and technical expertise.
• Weekend Differential:
  Additional $10.00 per hour for work performed on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Overtime:
  Offered when work is available.
• Per Diem: $40.00 per day when staying at a company‑paid lodging accommodation.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Education:
  
  Associate’s Degree from a fully accredited college or technical/vocational school in Diesel Technology or a closely related field preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 4 years of directly related experience in heavy equipment repair, preferably in a heavy industrial environment with or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Driver License:
  Valid driver’s license with a driving record that includes no more than 3 moving violations and/or chargeable accidents in the last 3 years and no DUIIs. CDL strongly preferred or a commitment to acquire CDL upon hire.
• Drug Test and Physical Screening:
  Pre‑employment drug test and physical required. We conduct random drug tests and post‑accident testing. ARI maintains a zero‑tolerance drug policy, including marijuana.
• Travel Commitment:
  Willingness to travel regularly to field locations.
