EMS Truck Repair is a full-service heavy-duty truck and tanker repair facility located in Eugene, Oregon. As a licensed MAC LTT dealer , we specialize in keeping commercial fleets running strong across the Pacific Northwest. Position SummaryWe are hiring a Level 2 or 3 Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled mechanic ready to take the next step in their career — whether you’re an experienced Level 2 tech looking to advance, or a seasoned Level 3 tech who can take on advanced diagnostics and engine work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and tankers.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct DOT inspections and maintain detailed service records.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and Foreman to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work habits at all times.
- Mentor and support junior technicians when needed.
- 2–5 years of diesel or heavy-truck repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with industry tools and software (e.g., Cummins Insite, Detroit Diesel, etc.).
- CDL Class A or B preferred but not required.
- Must provide basic hand tools; specialty tools are provided.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
Full-time, Schedule 3 (Day Shift) :
Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
Overtime may be available during peak periods.
Compensation & Benefits- Pay Range : $25.00 – $37.00 per hour (DOE and skill level)
