Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines
• Assists moving furniture, equipment, and replacing worn or damaged parts
• Detects, reports and repairs improper machine operation and faulty equipment
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
• Operates standard maintenance tools in accordance with departmental and safety policies and procedures
• Reads and understands general concepts of mechanical and electrical schematics
• Effectively utilizes the CMMS to complete assigned duties and tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Preventative Maintenance tracking systems (CMMS)
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigerant systems
• Ability to properly utilize a variety hand and power tools
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical schematics
• Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and cultivate relationships with others
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Preferred Experience with fabrication and welding, highly desired
• Knowledge of programmable controllers and associated software, a plus
• Supports troubleshooting related to systems Certified in LOTO program
• Supports and maintains Food Safety and Quality programs

• Follows and performs emergency procedures regarding power failures
