Field Representative

The Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA) is accepting resumes from individuals that are interested in working for a labor organization in the capacity of field representative.

The Oregon School Employees Association is a membership directed labor organization and represents classified employees working in Oregon's K-12 schools, community colleges, Head Starts, educational service districts, parks and recreation and library districts. OSEA is headquartered in Salem, Oregon with offices also in Portland and Eugene as well as several field offices located throughout the state.

Individuals submitting a resume for this position should include their educational background and work experience. Specifically, resumes should include applicant’s experience and knowledge in collective bargaining, contract administration, labor relations, organizing related experiences and provide examples of communication and planning skills.

Works under the general supervision of the director of field operations; assists local chapters in developing and implementing programs of classified employee advocacy with particular emphasis on internal organizing, member empowerment, negotiations, mediation, coalition building, political action, contract administration, public relations, chapter administration and other related work as required.

Salary range starting at $72,864 per year, health benefits, 401(k), dental insurance and employer-assigned automobile.

This position is located in the Eugene Oregon area. Selected candidates may need to relocate.
