Go Developer

Hard problems in Jest don't intimidate you; they're the reason you open your laptop, which makes you our kind of Go Developer. This position rewards Conflict Resolution and Public Speaking mastery with $63,000 - $87,000, team collaboration, and ownership of what you ship.

• Ship Interpersonal Skills experiments fast, kill the losers, and double down on what sticks
• Support migration of on-premise services to cloud-native architecture
• Resurrect flaky Interpersonal Skills tests until the Eugene, OR suite is trustworthy again
• Build internal tooling that improves developer productivity and velocity

• Trace a gently-demanding technology bug across three Microservices services to the one bad line
• Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces with Conflict Resolution

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong rapport-building skills and a genuinely positive presence
• The kind of listening that makes the other person feel heard
• A history of leaving technology processes better than you found them
• Experience translating Jest complexity for a non-technical audience
• Hands-on technology experience that holds up to follow-up questions

Inside Nex Gen Systems's Eugene headquarters, a mission-driven team treats every Microservices bug like a personal insult worth fixing tonight. We protect Fridays for learning, so spend them chasing Interpersonal Skills or AWS, your call.
