Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Clerk to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role is responsible for entering sales orders, verifying order information, coordinating with customers and internal departments, and ensuring orders are processed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has strong data entry skills, customer service experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities

+ Enter customer orders into the ERP/order management system accurately and efficiently.

+ Review purchase orders and verify pricing, quantities, product details, and shipping information.

+ Communicate with customers regarding order status, discrepancies, and missing information.

+ Coordinate with sales, warehouse, production, and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

+ Process order changes, cancellations, returns, and credits as needed.

+ Maintain accurate customer and order records.

+ Research and resolve order entry issues and discrepancies.

+ Generate reports and assist with inventory and order tracking activities.

+ Provide administrative support to customer service and sales teams.

+ Ensure a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction throughout the order process.

Requirements

Requirements

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ 1+ year of order entry, customer service, administrative, or data entry experience preferred.

+ Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Experience processing purchase orders and sales orders preferred.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

+ Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms is a plus.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
