- Examine and inspect vehicle integrity, including panels, wheels, previous repair work, etc.
- Record noted imperfections and/or damage and review with supervisor, developing an action plan for vehicle repair.
- Inspect finished body panels.
- Repair and/or replace damaged panels or other body components as directed.
- Remove and clean compound or polish residue from buffed panels.
- Move vehicles to support production flow.
- Complete work order documentation.
- Wear and use appropriate safety equipment at all times.
- Follow all job‑related safety and health procedures.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
You're all about accuracy and the value of attention to detail. You take pride in a day's work, and love working in an environment where your skills are respected and developed.
Minimum- 3+ years of experience as a body repair technician or equivalent repair experience.
- Safe drivers are needed; a valid driver's license is required.
- The ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
- A high school diploma or its equivalent.
Hourly base pay rate is $19.57 - $29.38 per hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
